Uffizi Small-Group Tour with Dedicated Entrance

The experience

The meeting point is at Fontana del Nettuno, where Crown Tours staff welcome you and prepare you for entry. Inside, an English-speaking guide chooses the route for 1.5 hours: Giotto's first innovations, Botticelli's Birth of Venus and Primavera, Leonardo's Annunciation, Michelangelo's Doni Tondo and Raphael's Madonna of the Goldfinch. Along the corridors the guide also points out the ceilings, the sculptures and the view towards the Vasari Corridor. An audio system allows you to hear her throughout the tour.

After the guided part, you stay in the rooms as long as you like: the ticket is for the whole day, and the listing cites the rest points and the café on the terrace with a view of Florence. One thing to know: the official ticket allows only one entry, so if you leave you cannot re-enter. Among the included items the listing also lists a separate line for the group entrance; Uffizi tickets are still timed and named for everyone.

The price starts from $65 per person (GetYourGuide, October 2026), with ticket, guide, assistance and audio system. The official ticket alone costs €25 on the day and €29 in advance on tickets.uffizi.it; from 16:00 there is the afternoon rate of €16, €20 in advance. The other fares are in the Uffizi ticket guide.

What travellers say

★★★★★

Our tour was great. The guide, Laura, knew the works and artists very well. I particularly liked the information on the symbolism in the paintings and their connection with the changing history.

Pam · Oct 2026 · originally in English
★★★★★

Laura is an exceptional guide who knows the power of storytelling to engage her audience. Her explanations about each painting, the context of the time and the artist, plus her questions to invite everyone to reflect on their own interpretation, make this tour different from others. [...] Thank you Laura.

★★★★★

The guide was very knowledgeable and the tour had a good pace. The addition of a headset to hear the guide was great.

John · Oct 2026 · originally in English
★★★★★

Everything went as it should. If we had gone alone, we would not have found the famous works so easily. The guide was also very enthusiastic and knew how to conduct the tour with great skill.

Tips before booking

  • Write the names exactly as on the document and bring the same document on the day of the visit: the listing warns that the museum may refuse entry if the data do not match.
  • No suitcases or large bags: the listing bans them, and at the Uffizi bulky backpacks and bags must go to the free cloakroom.
  • If you book a time in the afternoon, remember that the Gallery closes at 18:30 and that after the tour you need time for the other rooms.
  • Photos are allowed without flash, selfie sticks or tripods: you can find this on the Uffizi visit rules.
